麻省理工学院公布本科生新学年学费

3月3日，美国麻省理工学院在当天举行的会议上正式确定了2006～2007学年的学费为33600美元—-比现在的2005～2006学年提高了4个百分点。


麻省理工学院本科生教育主任丹尼尔·黑斯廷斯说：“学院致力于让每一个人都能上得起学。学费增加将促使学院保持其面向所有学生的教育计划的高质量，并且学院将继续遵循其隐蔽需要的入学申请与基于需要的财政援助之原则，以确保我们所有的本科生，不管家庭出身，都能够接受得起麻省理工学院的教育。”

在2006～2007学年，麻省理工学院将提供惠及57%的本科生大的总额约为6000万美元的奖学金。麻省理工学院2006～2007学年的平均奖学金额度将为25500美元。在 2006～2007学年中，有90%之多的本科生将接收到来自各方面的大约8500万美元的基于需要的与基于优秀的（merit-based）财政援助。

除了学费，2006～2007学年麻省理工学院本科生的其他花费，食宿费为9950美元，书本费与个人花销为2800美元。
